Set a reminder

Cancer patients notice that people slowly started to drift away especially if they had to stop working and lose contact. Maybe it’s because their friends are busy getting on with their lives or because they could no longer go out with them so the invites stop arriving. Others just don’t know what to say or time gets away from them and then friends find it difficult to make contact. The longer cancer treatment continues the more isolated the cancer patient and their family can feel.

Why not set a reminder in the calendar to make contact.  It doesn’t need to be daily or even weekly, just consistent so the patient knows you are thinking of them.

“Note to self, every second Tuesday remember to  check in on  ***** !”
