Cancer fatigue is different from everyday tiredness and can happen suddenly. Everything can seem overwhelming, an effort, very frustrating and affect your moods.  You feel so tired and lacking energy that even your general day-to-day living become difficult.

Resting does not always help but listen to your body and go by how you feel,  If you need a little nap to re-charge then take a couple of naps during the day.

It is a good idea to set small, manageable goals and plan your day to include rest times. Get to know how your treatment cycles work and plan your activities for the days you are feeling at your best. Included in our Kit for Cancer case is a journal to keep a record of your energy levels to see if part of the day is better than others. You will then know when is the best time to go out or get a few jobs done around the house.
