We thank the amazing medical teams and caregivers available to us in Australia. Our research departments are working hard to find treatments that will prolong life of cancer patients and to find a cure.

The best we can do is seek advice and regular checkups so early detection gives us the best survival chance.

If you are off to a BBQ include adequate water and stay hydrated. Be aware of food preparation. Food at barbecues or picnics is more likely to harbour food borne bacteria.  Food is often left unrefrigerated outside for too long before consumption. Insects wind-borne dust and bacteria and meats cooked on barbecues with chicken and seafood add to the risks of food poisoning.

Also remember your broad brimmed hat, sun protection and your hand sanitiser. We have popped a pocket size Thank you hand sanitiser in Kit.
