No question is silly

When talking with your medical team don’t worry if your questions seem silly or don’t make sense. Do not be afraid to speak up. It’s important to be able to talk frankly and openly. It’s your life and all your questions are important and deserve an answer.

Keep a notebook or diary and jot down questions you want answered for every appointment. A prepared list means you won’t forget to ask about your concerns. Do the same when you are admitted to hospital and have the list ready for when your medical team drop by. It’s so easy to forget especially if they are in a hurry. We have popped a notebook in Kit for you to record your concerns.

If you don’t understand your medical team’s answers asks many times as necessary or for a simpler explanation.
