Feeling down? It’s important to let someone else know when you’re in a rough patch. Don’t pretend, or put on a “happy face,” if you don’t really feel that way. You don’t have to keep calm and carry on.

Share your true feelings with your loved ones. By attempting to act cheerful  you are not helping others to understand your mood changes. You’re allowed to freak out, stop for a moment and ask for help.

Simple conversations can change the  way you feel. Approach someone you trust maybe your carer, relative or friend. If that seems too much call a helpline or seek advice from your medical team.
