Christmas shopping

Not everything can be bought online. Sometimes you need to see the items, try them on etc.

Ask a friend, family member, or neighbour if they would go with you. This person may be able to drive you there, help you find items, and carry the bags. Save your energy and use a cart rather than carrying a basket. Try not to heavy lift and at the checkout ask to have your bags packed lightly. Some smaller shopping centres will help put your bags into the car or use collection points at larger centres for bigger items.

Take a break if you get tired. Many stores have chairs, or offer your helper a coffee and rest. Remember whatever you buy you may need help at home getting your purchases into the house.
